Earlier this month we were honoured to receive a high commendation in the Kevin Borland Masonry category at the Think Brick Awards. The awards encourage innovation and imagination with architects’ use of bricks, blocks, pavers, and roof tiles in their projects. Our Boneo Road Residence was one of 5 projects to receive a high commendation in our category, which features a concrete brick developed specifically for the project by National Masonry.
The shortlist for the Houses Awards 2019 have just been revealed, and we are delighted to have the Mermaid Beach Residence included in this year’s shortlist. Congratulations to all the practices and projects who made the list this year, we are looking forward to seeing the winners announced at the event in July at the Plaza Ballroom in Melbourne. It has been an eventful awards season for B.E Architecture with St Vincent’s Place and James Street Residences being shortlisted in the Australian Institute of Architects Heritage Architecture category along with our St Vincent’s Place also being shortlisted in the Residential Architecture – Houses (Alterations & Additions) category.
We are excited to learn that the Armadale Residence has been shortlisted for the 2018 INDE Awards for “the living space” category. The winners will be revealed at an event in Singapore in June.
The Houses Awards have just revealed the shortlisted entries for 2018. We are thrilled to have the James Street Residence and the St Vincents Place Residence included in this year’s shortlist. Both projects have been selected in two categories – House Alteration & Addition over 200m2 and Heritage. The winners will be announced at an event in July.
The Australian Interior Design Awards have recently announced their list of shortlisted projects for 2018. We are honoured to have the St Vincents Place Residence included in the running for the “Residential Design” category. We are especially excited because this is our first-ever project to be shortlisted in the Australian Interior Design Awards program! Directors Broderick Ely and Andrew Piva recently joined a group esteemed designers at the Stokehouse for an event hosted by House and Garden Magazine to announce their 2017 list of “Top 50 Rooms”. B.E Architecture is honoured to be included in this year’s lineup which is published in the special edition of the House and Garden. In addition to the publication, B.E’s project is one of the finalists for the “Best use of Materials’ and “Best Kitchen”.
At the end of May at a ceremony held at the Coco Republic showroom in Sydney, the winners of the 2017 Belle Coco Republic Interior Design awards were announced. Directors Broderick Ely and Andrew Piva were honoured to accept the award for “Best Bathroom” for the granite bathroom at the Armadale Residence completed earlier this year…
The Houses Awards have released their much anticipated shortlist for the 2017 Awards. We could not be more thrilled that the Armadale Residence is among those selected. The project is in the category for “New House over 200m2” The awards will be announces later this year. The house was beautifully built by LBA Constructions.
In the May issue of Belle, the magazine announced the finalists for their coveted Coco Republic Interior Design Awards. We could not be more excited that our bathroom design for the Armadale Residence is one of five finalists for the Best Bathroom category. The winners will be announced on 25 May at an awards ceremony in Sydney. Best of luck to all the finalists!
