At B.E Architecture, we like to integrate the architecture with the other elements that make up a home; the interior design, art curation, and landscape design. This month, we wanted to introduce Sydney based landscape designer Myles Baldwin, whom we are currently collaborating with on several of our residential projects in Melbourne and Sydney. Myles and his team deliver beautiful gardens that are responsive to the architecture they support and have a uniquely individual approach, rather than one size fits all.
The garden, in our opinion, is of equal importance to the other components of the house, and something we enjoy being involved with when possible. It is a great pleasure to work with Myles and his team to experience first-hand the special way they relate to a site, the plants, and the environment they are working within. Through Myles’ extensive experience sourcing and relocating mature trees, we hope to be able to produce a garden that gives the impression of having been in place for years, which is something we endeavour to create for all our gardens. These skills are particularly relevant in our work with period buildings where one would expect houses of their age to be supported by mature plantings.
We look forward to bringing further updates of his work as our projects are built.
