Point Nepean Residence – In Construction

Location is the focus at the Point Nepean Residence. The house is starting to take shape just adjacent to the Portsea pier with one of the most picturesque construction sites we have had the privilege to work on. While just the bones of the project are currently in place, the views from the upper level are an indicator of this to come.

2017 Houses Awards Shortlist

The Houses Awards have released their much anticipated shortlist for the 2017 Awards. We could not be more thrilled that the Armadale Residence is among those selected. The project is in the category for “New House over 200m2” The awards will be announces later this year. The house was beautifully built by LBA Constructions.

2017 Belle Coco Republic Interior Design Awards

In the May issue of Belle, the magazine announced the finalists for their coveted Coco Republic Interior Design Awards. We could not be more excited that our bathroom design for the Armadale Residence is one of five finalists for the Best Bathroom category. The winners will be announced on 25 May at an awards ceremony in Sydney. Best of luck to all the finalists!

AIA Awards – Jon Boucher, Juror

Each year the architecture community comes together for the AIA Awards to recognise the exceptional work done in the industry throughout Australia. We are often involved in sharing one or two of our latest projects to be reviewed by a panel of our peers.

This year, we will also participate on the other side of the process. Our director Jon Boucher will sit on the jury panel for the multi-residential category. As an active member of the AIA, Jon will bring his more than 20 years of experience to the task of evaluating this year’s multi-residential entries.

House & Garden – Winter Street Residence

House and Garden Magazine have created a lovely portrait of our clients and their house at Winter Street Residence, a renovation and extension to a historic residence. The story is out in this month’s Renovation Special. Highlighting B.E’s holistic approach to living environments, the project imagery shows the interiors and gardens. We worked with the clients to develop these to support the architecture.

We enjoy introducing our clients to the concept of putting together a collection of art for their homes, working with galleries, artists and art auctions. It is our philosophy that the integration of art with a house is different than selecting a decorative element. We believe that art should be something that engages someone on an ongoing basis and encourages thought and discussion.

Progress at St Vincents Place
