To ensure a building will be relevant through its life cycle, we look carefully at common threads that continue to persist through history. Our approach is to create architecture that is classic in inspiration and modern for intent. A building that continues to get better over time and is imbued with true timelessness.

B.E’s portfolio of work is primarily bespoke residential architecture, which includes new builds as well as distinctive period restoration and country houses. Our detailed approach is often suitable for commercial projects where design is a priority. Our portfolio also includes a selection of multi-residential developments, hospitality venues, and workplace buildings and fit-outs.

A project’s success hinges on the development of an idea and ability to follow through with the design intent. We work closely with planning consultants throughout the process and have an extensive understanding of the complexities of town planning and VCAT. Over the last 20 years, we have developed strong relationships with councils and heritage representatives for period restoration projects and had our work recognised by these councils for exemplary design.

The directors of B.E Architecture approach architecture with prior experience working in construction. Our designs often challenge standard building conventions and our involvement through the construction administration phase of a project is integral to the initial design intent. We work closely with builders, trades and craftsman to develop unique materiality, fine detailing and bespoke elements and to ensure that the resolution of the built form exceeds the clients’ expectations.

In addition to working on projects in Melbourne and rural Victoria, we are also experienced working interstate. Regardless of where the project is located, our architects and designers are invested in reaching the same level of service and final projects. This includes site regular client meetings and site visits from design through to construction. B.E Architecture is a current active member of the AIA in Victoria and is registered in New South Wales and Queensland.

Working closely with our buildings, we enjoy when we get the opportunity to extend the relationship to include other elements that make a complete environment. Our additional services can be tailored to include landscaping and interior design as well as creating individual art collections.
